WDW Not Just for Kids Review: Art of Animation Resort

050 I stayed at The Art of Animation resort last week.  This was my first time staying there, although as you know, I have been talking about it ad nauseum for years.  It was also my mother’s first time staying at a value resort.  I loved the resort.  We stayed in the Little Mermaid rooms which are standard.  You guys, I showered in Ariel’s Lair!  My one complaint is that cell service stunk (I could get some bars but little 3G on my Verizon iPhone4S, and Disney wifi needs to be re-authenticated every few minutes.  My mom got no service on her Verizon iPhone 4–her bed was slightly closer to the wall than mine).  The walk to Little Mermaid (we were in Triton) was not bad.  We had great service for check-in and out-I’ll elaborate on it further in a later post (didn’t want a downer for my first post), but I was a “certain guest” who could not use Resort Airline Check-in).   Landscape of Flavors is great:  I loved it.  I had lunch (the acorn squash) and two breakfasts (yogurt parfait and croissant), TheMom had an omelette which she liked as well.

055And the theming!  Nemo was great, Lion King was awesome, Little Mermaid was great, but the Cars section was incredible.

Have you stayed there?  Did you like it?
